A watch to make your dreams come true.

The beautiful Paper Crane watch was designed by Korean American artist Hannah Sung to remind you of your childhood dreams.

This distinctive design was gilded with 22ct. citron gold leaf, before being hand-assembled by our small team in London.

    How to read the time:

The crescent shape opening on the dial represents 12 hours with the time running from left to right.

When you see the red crane moving through this area, the time is between 6am and 6pm. After 6pm, the red crane disappears on the right and the paper crane appears on the left. The paper crane then shows the hours from 6pm through to 6am.

The minutes are displayed in the centre of the dial, these run in a conventional way, so the hand makes one complete revolution each hour.

Hannah explains her inspiration for the design:

"I was obsessed with making paper cranes when I was a child. Back then, I loved the whimsical promise of the old proverb stating, 'If you make one thousand paper cranes, your wish will come true'.

I didn't have any specific dreams or wishes, all I knew was that I wanted to be an artist for the rest of my life.

My dream matured and folding paper cranes yielded to adult responsibilities.

I chose the paper crane motif to soar through the night sky on this watch. Its change from a literal bird to an origami one represents the continued existence of the childhood dream in the quiet hours after the sun has gone down.

Just as your dreams can be ignored or forgotten during the day, one may take comfort in the reliability of the nighttime crane rising again."
